Mr. Ye Rongzhong was born in November 1964 in Taizhou, Zhejiang province. He became a member of the Communist Party of China in December 1985, and began his career in August 1987. Prior to his role as Ningbo FAO’s DG, he worked as the Taizhou Foreign Affairs Office’s interpreter, the Ningbo FAO Friendly Exchange Division’s Director, and later Ningbo FAO’s Deputy DG. Today, in addition to serving as the Director General, he is also Ningbo FAO’s Party Leadership Group Secretary, and a non-executive Chairman of the Ningbo Red Cross. He holds an M.A. in Diplomacy from the University of Westminster.

SHI Guoxiang

Mr. SHI Guoxiang was born in July 1964 in Jiangdu, Jiangsu province. He became a member of the Communist Party of China in October 1986, holds a bachelor degree, and worked in the military from October 1982 to January 2012.

Mr. CHEN Guomiao was born in March 1964 and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1985. He holds a B.A. in foreign languages from Hangzhou University. Prior to serving as Deputy Director-General, he had been the Deputy Director of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office’s Consular Affairs Division and Director of the Protocol Division.

Mr. Xu Pingyuan was born in September 1974 in Yuyao, Zhejiang province. He holds an M.A. from Zhejiang Normal University, began his career in August 1997, and became a member of the Communist Party of China in January 2002. Prior to serving as Deputy Director-General, he had been the Deputy Director and (later) Director of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office’s Friendly Exchange Division, as well as the Deputy Director of the Ningbo Investment Promotion Bureau.

Kong Weiwei

Mr. KONG Weiwei was born in October 1960. He obtained his B.S. in biology from Hangzhou University and later attended the MBA program in Zhejiang University. He went on to serve at Ningbo Middle School as Assistant Principal, and later Ningbo Municipal Education Commission as Deputy Director of Publicity Department, Director of Primary Education Department, Director of General Office, and Assistant Director General of the commission. Then, he became a Standing Committee Member of CPC Jiangbei District Committee in charge of publicity. He was the Deputy Director of General Office of CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Deputy Secretary General of the committee, later designated to Beijing as Director General of Ningbo Municipal Government Beijing Office before becoming the Director-General of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office. Mr. Kong is currently on loan to the Consulate-General of China in Vancouver, Canada, serving as Deputy Consul-General in Vancouver.
